Help spread the word:

In 2021, we are collecting A Great Light Offering (AGLO) for Penny Crusade, our yearly emphasis on Missions. This year’s theme, “A Great Light” is drawn from Isaiah 9:2, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.”

Billions are walking in deep darkness every day with little to no access to the gospel. We call these groups “unreached.” An unreached people group is a term for those who share a common ethnic identity and language in which the number of evangelical Christians is numerically insignificant — fewer than two percent. During Penny Crusade, we will learn about six of these people groups. The Banjara (bahn-jah-ra), the Burmese, the Hadzabe (had-za-bee), the Japanese, the Isan (ee-san) and the West Malaysian Indigenous. The good news is that right now, we have Advent Christian churches and ministries who have access to these unreached people groups.

Supporting and praying for missions gives us the chance to participate in making disciples of Jesus around the world. To fund our missionaries and ministries in 2021, the goal for Penny Crusade is $500,000. This includes sending a new missionary family to Thailand and a new outreach in Tanzania. With your help and participation, we can see our missionaries supported and encouraged, knowing they are backed by the prayers and financial gifts of so many. This reflects our number one priority of establishing and strengthening churches among unreached people groups.

We will be taking our prayer time each week to focus on missions and unreached people groups. And we ask you to consider how you might take part and

help us to set the world AGLO with the light of Christ!
